April DC Report

A big thank-you to all our helpers at the working bee. We achieved lots including cleaning of the clubhouse, new cross country fences, repair of water jump and a new jump, cleaning of the new shed, filling a 4 metre skip, spouting on the shed cleaned, trees pruned, whipper snipping and lots more. It was a fantastic joint effort with the adult riders.

April Rally information

This April rally looks to be as fun as ever thanks to Kylie – our rally organiser. She has organised instructors and the rally plan. I won’t be there as I will be at Yeringberg doing the club’s compulsory duty. We need to supply 2 cross country judges and our club is packing up the cross country fences. Sheridan is joining me at 4.00 to pack this up. If anyone else can help with cross country judging that would appreciated as I need another. Maybe a senior rider as the event goes up to 1 star and it can be very interesting and great fun!

June Rally information

The dentist Mark Burnell is booked and I will let you know the price the next month. He will also give a very informative talk at lunchtime.

Paul Williams Showjumping Day

I am currently working out a day with Paul Williams to instruct our members in the school holidays. It looks like being the July school holidays so stay tuned.

Freshmans Showjumping

What a great night for our last Freshmans SJ with 2 rings allowing both lower levels and higher levels to get the most out of the evening. Thanks to Robbie & Katie for great tuition and Russell for setting up and packing up the rings along with Hursty members. Well done to all the kids who rode!

Daylight Savings

Don’t forget daylight savings ends this weekend so clocks are turned back so you get an extra hours sleep in!

D Cert Books

If you require this book can you ring the PCAV office and order yourself one and they will post out to you. I wasn’t at the last zone meeting so was unable to get these.

If you have any perpetual trophies could you bring them back this rally and pop them back into the trophy cabinet.

Happy Riding, Andrea Barton
